Tim O’Leary was the first male to ever work as a counsellor/advocate at SECASA (the South East Centre Against Sexual Assault).
Presented by Tim, ‘Shame Shifting’ is a one-day seminar for professionals. The seminar provides a model for therapeutic work to help survivors of child sexual assault to “shift” their shame and self-blame. The seminar identifies the developmental origins of shame and guilt. It then explains how their powerful and often debilitating mechanisms can be transformed through targeted therapeutic approaches and mindfulness.
The seminar also features Tim's innovative 'Tracking the Offending' model: a proven psycho-educational and therapeutic tool. He has presented the ‘Tracking the Offending’ model at conferences and workshops where it has been universally well received. Participants will receive copies of this unique tool. Tim is a dynamic and much sought after presenter who incorporates DVDs, facilitation and active discussion in his seminars. This seminar will contribute 6 hours of professional education to your annual CPE points.
